Kernel from Minorbits (iOS Movie App)
A simple app for keeping track of which movies are coming soon and which you want to see. Such a function is in more apps, but that is often tucked away. Here the function is the main thing, divided into three tabs at the bottom of the screen.
On the left is the Watchlist tab, a viewing list to which you add all the films you want to see. In the center is the Kernel blog, in which recent and upcoming movies are discussed; you have to pay for that position. The right tab shows all upcoming films, beautifully presented in a row by their poster.
Press the poster, and you will get a synopsis of the film. You can easily add that to your viewing list. At the bottom, you can switch between movies that will soon appear in the cinema, films in digital stores and the physical release on Blu-ray and DVD. If a film appears on your list in the cinema, Kernel asks if you want it on your list again if it can be rented or sold later. Kernel can also alert when a movie is about to arrive in the cinema.
The app is only available on the Apple Store for iPhone and Apple Watch: Kernel
